Lampang City is referred to as the Horse Cart City, so no visit would be complete with no a quick trot around the city in one of its charming horse carriages.
Then continue tour to Lamphun. In Lamphun step into Wat Phra That Hariphunchai, the most holy wat in lamphum the kingdom of Queen Jammadhevi, the step daughther of Wa Suthep Hermit from Doi Suthep. Then heading to Wat Pra Nang Jamadhavee or Ku Kut temple. Talk above with the biggest of the two is an excessively ordinary square ‘stepped pyramid’ formed chedi. The first name of the temple comes from the shape of the chedi that is broken down on the optimum part ,but the temple still stand until the present day.
Return back to Chiang Mai driving along the Sarapee Roadway with the official name of Chiangmai-Lamphun Street (Route 106), you may notice the elegant, imposing trees that grace the roadside for about ten kilometers. One may believe the trees were planted by the local government to beautify the roadside. Indeed this may be true. However, a little oversight of local history and legend reveals a much more advertent tale.
